The CHAI Affiliate Faculty Program opens its application process every January. This year, we had a record number of applicants, and it was very competitive year! Every year, the CHAI Affiliate Faculty Program selects a variety of individuals based on specialties, departments, and career experience in order to either mentor and educate current members or those looking to grow in their advocacy efforts.

CHAI Affiliate Faculty are faculty members of Children’s National Hospital (CNH) and/or George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWU SMHS) and School of Nursing (SON) who are contributing substantially to CHAI’s mission:

The Child Health Advocacy Institute, through leadership and collaboration, advances policy and systems changes to achieve health equity for all children.

Specifically, CHAI Affiliate Faculty Members participate and lead in advocacy education, legislative advocacy, community benefit programs, and other CHAI initiatives. Please welcome our new members this year!
